Spring Wedding at Avenir in Walpole

We couldn’t Have asked for a better day for Adam and Brenna’s The sun was shining with some overcast skies later in the day. We started at The Renaissance Hotel at Patriot Place. They were getting ready in separate rooms which give us an opportunity to photograph them separately before the first look. It was fun to incorporate all the young kids into the photography. We did a majority of the photography before the ceremony at Francis William Bird Park. It is such a great space, especially with a lot of people at the bridal party. We were able to take advantage of the bridges ponds and fields. They were genuinely having such a good time together it made our jobs very easy. What better place to host an event than Avenir in Walpole. The sun was just setting and the light was gorgeous to work with. The rest of the evening was filled with fun and dance. All their guests were so happy to be celebrating with them. It was the perfect combination of photo journalistic, candid situational photography along with the fun portraiture they were anticipating. I’m so glad I was able to be part of the day.

Fall Wedding The Commons 1854

Having photographed a couple of Kevin. and Jenny’s groomsmen‘s wedding, I knew we were in for a good day. They did not disappoint. Unfortunately in New England, we have to battle the elements. Despite the fact, we couldn’t go outside to do the formal pictures due to the rain we still got a lot of amazing images to work with. The Commons 1854 is one of the few locations where it looks just as nice inside as it does out. We were able to sneak out a little later in the evening when the rain subsided a bit. We started doing some getting-ready photographs at the Doubletree in Danvers. There were a lot of nice lights to work with and all the bridesmaids were having a lot of fun during the hair and make-up. We got some equally good Imagery at Kevin’s brother’s home. The ceremony and the rest of the evening were all filled with fun and dance. It was a perfect combination of fun portraiture mixed in with candid and situational photography. I’m so glad I was able to be part of the day.

Spring Wedding at The Commons 1854

I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to start the beginning of my wedding season. Owen and Monica were so much fun to work with, they made my job very easy. I started doing some of the getting-ready imagery at their home in Cambridge. It was a truly international wedding with many of Monica‘s friends and family attending from all different parts of the world. The ceremony and reception took place at The Commons 1854 in Topsfield. It is such a great place to host an event. Unfortunately, we ran into a hail storm. The venue is one of the few spaces where it’s equally nice inside as it is outside. Luckily the weather broke after the ceremony and we were able to get some nice shots of the sunsets and some rustic architecture. The rest of the evening was filled with fun and dance. It was the perfect combination of some fun portraiture combined with the candid, documentary imagery they were looking for. I’m so glad I was able to be part of the day.

Winter Wedding Omni Providence Rhode Island

When you have a winter wedding in New England you’re either hoping for new snow on the ground or an unseasonably warm day. James and Nicole got the latter. It allowed us to do some of the photography at the State House in Providence Rhode Island. Both the getting-ready photography and the reception took place at the Omni parker Providence. It was such a fun bridal party from the start of the day to the last dance, it made our jobs very easy. The ceremony took place at Saint Mary’s in Uxbridge. With great lighting and interesting architecture, we were able to do some fun creative imagery. The rest of the evening was filled with fun and dance. It was the perfect combination of interesting portraiture combined with the photojournalistic, candid situational photography they were anticipating. I’m so glad I was able to be part of the day.

Great Summer Wedding Birch Wood Vineyards

Having photographed Kyle and Brittany‘s engagement shoot as well as two of their bridal parties weddings, I knew we were in for a good day. They certainly did not disappoint. We started the day at the Hilton in Manchester New Hampshire. There is some beautiful light to work with for the portraits we did of them separately. You wouldn’t think that they would be such a beautiful vineyard on the main road in Derry New Hampshire but Birch Wood Vineyards pulled it off. There was such genuine emotion at the ceremony and throughout the day, that it made our jobs very easy to document it. We got a nice combination of some fun portraits that incorporated the environments as well as the documentary and situational photography that they were looking for. The rest of the evening was filled with fun and dancing. I’m so glad I was able to be part of the day.
