Winter Wedding at DoubleTree Danvers

It was evident from the first time I met Joe and Jaqualine that they simply wanted to have a great time at the wedding. I could tell right away that they have a very tight-knit group of friends and family, who genuinely wanted to be part of their day. Everything from the getting ready to the last dance took place at the Doubletree in Danvers Massachusetts. Despite the fact it was a bit too cold to go outside to do photography, we were able to use the interior spaces. The light was really nice to do some photography of Jaqualine getting ready. It was fun to cooperate their dog in a lot of the shots. It’s always nice when you have a family member conduct the ceremony. Jaqualine‘s brother was able to pull it off flawlessly. The rest of the evening was filled with fun and one of the best dance crowds I’ve seen in a long time. It was the perfect combination of the fun portraiture combined with the candid documentary type of photography they were looking for. I’m so glad I was able to be part of the day.
