Snow winter wedding Harrington Farm

Of all the weddings I’ve shot, I don’t think I’ve seen a couple who were so genuinely happy and truly enjoyed being around each other and their families as much as Tyler and Alex. Despite the fact, it was wet due to the rain/snow and we couldn’t get outside to do too much photography, it didn’t phase them in the slightest bit. The entire wedding from the getting ready to the final dance took place at Harrington Farm. There are very few venues where it is equally nice inside as it is out. With overcast skies, we were able to get some really soft flat light to work with. When it started to get dark the rain turned into snow. There are not too many brides who would make the effort to go out in the elements in a sleeveless dress with a long train. I knew if Alex was willing to do so I had to come up with some great shots. The ceremony is the one part of the day where people are a bit more reserved. That simply was not the case. People are generally having an equally good time throughout the day. Photography was a great combination of the candid photojournalistic moments combined with the interesting portraiture that they were anticipating. I’m so glad I got to be part of the day.
