Intimate Outdoor Wedding at Black Swan Country Club in Georgetown, MA

As a wedding photographer, it’s imperative to be both resourceful and adaptable. Weddings move at an extraordinary pace. And no matter how much planning goes into orchestrating the perfect day, no wedding goes off without a hitch. So, as the photographer, and by extension the de facto coordinator at times, I have to know how to create the same standard of photography no matter what unexpected hiccups are thrown my way. Take for example the wedding of Rath and Sarun. The day started off great, with bride and groom getting ready at the Danvers Double Tree hotel. Everything was going smoothly, that was until their previously planned transportation to the ceremony did not pan out. In comes Uber to the rescue, and the couple arrived at the Black Swan Country Club in time for their beautiful, intimate outdoor ceremony. Unfortunately, the transportation snafu ate into our preceremony photography time. Thankfully, I was working with a fantastic couple, an awesome bridal party, and the amazing staff from the Black Swan. This allowed us to more than make up for lost time later in the day. Not only were we able to capture all of the images that were important to the bride and groom, we even had time to create some artistic and unique images of the couple.
