Fun Fall Wedding at the City Winery
Having photographed Jorge and Emily‘s engagement shoot I knew they wanted to have fun and creative imagery for the wedding. I also knew I had to be on my game as Jorge is an extremely competent photographer in his own right. To be honest, they did so much of the work for me it and made my job very easy. Really, how many brides are going to be climbing a rock wall in their wedding dress and heels on. If Emily was willing to make that sort of effort I knew I had to respond accordingly. We started the day at the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel in Cambridge. Haven’t shot there a number of times I know we could get some amazing lights and architecture to work with. We then headed over to Christopher Columbus Park to do the first look and formal photography. With so much extra time we were able to walk around the grounds to incorporate the Boston skyline, the harbor as well as the arch. As I mentioned we made a stop at the Boston Rock Gym. The ceremony and reception took place at the city winery in Boston. They allowed us to take advantage of the rooftop with some of the best views of Boston. The rest of the evening was filled with fun, dance a laughter. It was the perfect combination of documentary, photojournalistic photography, and fun creative portraits. I am so glad I got to be part of their day.
