Fall Wedding at the The Mansion at the Hellenic Center in Ipswich, MA

I knew we were going to be in for a great day, having shot David and Kayla’s engagement shoot. They did not disappoint. It was the perfect day for the perfect wedding. I really enjoy working with a couple who hire for the work they have seen in the past and then allow me to do the photography I enjoy and what they had hired me for. They put their faith in the people they hired and let everything come to them the day of the wedding. Working with these two took all of the guesswork and anxiety out of the day, which left me plenty of opportunities to take their vision and run with it. As far as locations go, I couldn’t have asked for better to capture the fall in New England images they had wanted for their wedding. We started the day at the Rockport Inn and Suites where both bride and groom getting ready. The rest of the day was spent at the Mansion at the Hellenic Center in Ipswich, MA. It is gorgeous all year round but especially in the fall. It was very nice that Kayal’s sister was able to conduct the ceremony. You could feel the love she had for them. We then took some really beautiful formals of them, their families, and bridal party. The rest of the evening was filled with fun and dance. Everything came together from getting ready straight through to the last dance. It was the perfect complement of photojournalistic and traditional wedding photography. I was so glad I was able to be part of the day.
