Having recently seen Sean and Pia’s at Kyle and Britney‘s wedding a couple of months ago, and also having worked with so many of their guests, I knew we were in for a good day. They did not disappoint. We started doing photography at one of Pia’s family members’ salons at London Hair Design. We then headed over to Pia‘s home to do some getting-ready photography. It’s so nice to use the space she grew up in in the imagery. The Greek culture has so many unique and fun customs, it makes it great for great photography. The ceremony took place at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Lynn Massachusetts. The church is so gorgeous with amazing light. We made a quick stop to do a couple of shots of them where they got engaged. The rest of the evening took place at Tedesco‘s country club. We were able to take advantage of the golf course by traveling around to different locations. We ended the cocktail hour with an amazing sunset. The rest of the day was filled with fun, laughter and what else would you expect at a Greek wedding other than money being thrown in the air. I’m so glad I got to be part of their day. It was a perfect combination of fun portraiture as well as the candid documentary imagery they were anticipating.
