Fall Wedding at Oceanview of Nahant

This job is a whole lot easier when you genuinely like the people you’re working with. Sean and Stephanie we’re such a great couple, it made our jobs very easy. Having photographed Sean’s sister’s wedding a couple of years back, I knew we were in for a good day. They did not disappoint. With the exception of doing some getting-ready shots of Stephanie and the bridesmaids at the Sheraton in Wakefield, the rest of the day took place at Oceanview of Nahant. With the clouds being overcast we got some amazing light to Used during the portraits of Stephanie. There are so many amazing spaces to shoot at Oceanview. It seems every direction to turn there’s either the Boston skyline, scenic boat, and coastal views. We did a lot of photography prior to the ceremony so that I can get back to enjoy their own cocktail hour. When you think of a Monday wedding, you would assume it’s more of a casual day. That was not the case. It seems like everyone was on the dance floor or truly enjoying themselves throughout the night. The day was a nice combination of photojournalistic and documentary types of photography as well as some nice fun portraits. I’m so glad I was able to be part of the day.
