Chris and Stephanie are one of those genuine couples who are incredibly easy to photography. We first worked together during their engagement shoot back in May in Boston before photographing their wedding at the Union Bluff Hotel in York, Maine. No matter what this couple did, it was pure photography gold. They know how to have fun, show sincere emotion, and are incredibly enthusiastic about doing whatever it takes to get the shot. I would be dishonest, though, if I said the day went without its challenges, speaking from a photographer’s point-of-view. It was a gorgeous day in New England that Friday, after some pretty nasty weather. But with the sun hanging so low in the skies these days, it can make for some tricky highlights vs. shadows situations. Thankfully, we were working with this incredible couple, and a gorgeous location like Union Bluff, that getting our lighting right was pretty much the only concern. All in all, it was an incredible couple and fantastic location for getting some beautiful Maine coastline fall wedding photography for Chris and Stephanie to enjoy for the many years to come.
