Cafe Escadrille Wedding in Burlington, MA
The day of Marisa and Kevin’s wedding began with them getting ready at separate locations. Marisa and her bridal party started their day at Marisa’s grandmother’s house. It was obvious from the first moment I met the couple that family was paramount to them, which became even more evident throughout the day. We met Kevin at his house to get shots of him and his groomsmen making their preparations. Kevin was feeling the pressure from the day, but thankfully he had a great group of guys to support him through the anxious moments leading up to the ceremony. Kevin and Marisa had decided to schedule their first look before arriving at the church, and so both parties met up at Potter Estate to witness the most heart felt first look I have had the privilege to photograph. Before departing for the ceremony, we took advantage of the estate’s beautiful grounds to get some creative shots of bride, groom, and their wedding party just as the sun slipped past the horizon. Afterwards, we traveled the short distance to the Our Lady Help church in Newton, MA, where three generations of Marisa’s family had also been married. Once the vows and kiss were exchanged it was on to the beautiful Cafe Escadrille where everyone celebrated Kevin and Marisa’s nuptials well into the evening.
