Winter wedding Cruiseport Bass Rocks Gloucester
As a wedding photographer, you can never be certain how far to push a couple to get the shot. If you play it safe, you may let your client down. If you are too insistent, you may find yourself pushing them past their comfort zone, which isn’t good for the photography or your client’s mood. It takes a great deal of courage for a couple to brave the elements on the North Shore of Massachusetts in January. It was a risk asking Mike and Kellie to venture out to Bass Rocks before their Cruiseport Gloucester wedding to get the photography I knew we could capture there. Thankfully, Mike and Kellie were not about to let the bitter wind of a Gloucester shoreline prevent them from achieving the wedding photography they had dreamed of. They were so enthusiastic about the idea, they even came prepared with flats for Kellie to scale the rigid shoreline, and a warm blanket monogrammed with their initials and wedding date to warm up in between shots. Their reward for such bravery are some breathtaking images we could have only captured in this uniquely beautiful setting. I am always grateful for the opportunity to work with a bride and groom so committed to their wedding photography that try just about anything to get what they want.
