Summer Wedding at Black Swan Country Club
We couldn’t have asked for a better day at Alex and Tasha’s wedding. We started off in Boston at the Hotel Marlowe. Every time I shoot there I seem to get the most amazing light to work with. It allows you to do a lot of natural light photography. As they wanted to do a lot of documentary style photography this light really helps in allowing you to be discreet and not use flash. I had never photographed at Saint Anthony’s in Cambridge. With it being such a wide open space we could shoot at any angle and still come up with good shots. What better way to end a church ceremony then to have a slushy cart waiting for you. It was a welcome surprise to Alex and all of the hot guest on a warm summer day. Black Swan Country Club is one of the few venues that allows you to get a lot of different backgrounds in a very small space. Whether it be on the hill with a big sky, the bridge or a simple thing as a bench, you can have a lot of fun with the imagery. The dance floor was packed as both sides were out there to have a great time. What a great day to have a wedding.
