One of the best parts of being a wedding photographer is not only that you get to be part of a couple’s most important day, but you get to experience their traditions and cultures. Maged and Rasha spent their childhood in the Middle East, specifically Egypt and Iran. They incorporated a lot of their culture into the wedding. It’s not every day you get to photograph a belly dancer holding a sword. We started out in Danvers to do some photography of them getting ready. They held their ceremony at. St. George’s church in Lynn. There is such amazing architecture and detail to incorporate into the photography. Having done their engagement shoots, I knew that they wanted to do a lot of fun photography. What better place to host an event than Oceanview in Nahant. We were able to include views of the harbor as well as the sunsets. The rest of the evening was filled with dance and fun. I’m so glad I was able to be part of their day.
