Michael and Angela’s Wedding at Cruiseport Gloucester
I like to believe all of the couples I work with are soul mates, but when it came to Michael and Angela there was no denying these two were made for each other. This couple had the most amazing chemistry, not to mention the sweetest daughter who was also the flower girl. So I was really excited to photograph their Cruiseport Gloucester wedding. We started shooting the bride and groom at separate locations: the bride at her family’s home and the groom at the immaculate Beauport Hotel. Michael and Angela deviated from tradition when they chose to see each other before their large church wedding. So the couple rendezvoused on the beach in front of Beauport, where they shared one of my favorite first look moments. We also took the time to do family and wedding party formals before heading to the church. This turned out to be very advantageous, as it allowed us to shoot only the bride and groom against the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen canopied across the Gloucester sky at Bass Rocks. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the harvest moon made its grand appearance, helping me to create some truly spectacular images for Michael and Angela to enjoy during their happily ever after.
