It’s been said time and time again that the best things come to those who wait. And while this old adage may be true with some things, most would argue that waiting out the weather in New England, especially on your wedding day, can be risky business. Well James and Monique are not most people. After one of the driest summers on record here in Massachusetts, it was the week before their wedding when one intense storm rolled through after another. With each consecutive storm, the heat, humidity, and couple’s anxiety rose. However, nothing would sway them from having their outdoor dream wedding. So when the final hour approached and it came to moving the wedding from Lynch Park in Beverly, MA to their reception venue, Cruiseport Gloucester, James and Monique remained steadfast and decided to wait it out. They would have their outdoor wedding, and they would be rewarded for their patience. Not only did the forecasted rain hold off until well after their ceremony, but it was a gorgeous day with beautiful skies, amazing light, and everything you need to capture some really unique wedding photography. After all was said and done, James and Monique still celebrated their nuptials well into the night with a very stylish reception hosted by the exquisite Cruiseport Gloucester.
