When you work with a great group of people as much as I’ve worked with the folks at Saphire Estate in Sharon, MA they become like part of your family. That is why I was really excited when one of the former coordinators from the venue had his sister contact me to photograph her wedding. It made shooting Andrew and Courtney’s Saphire Estate Wedding feel more like a reunion than work. The day began with both bride and groom in the same hotel, but different rooms. It is always an interesting challenge trying to keep the first look from happening too soon. It’s a good thing I have had years of practice doing just that. As lovable as the two are, it is no wonder they had a large bridal party, with each bridesmaid and groomsmen being as fun and enjoyable to work with as the last. Unfortunately, just as it was time for the couple to have their scheduled first look all of their guests started to arrive. Thankfully, the experienced staff at Saphire Estate knew exactly what to do and the bride and groom were quickly ushered to a new location so that they could share this intimate moment only with each other. After what was a beautiful and intimate ceremony, we were able to take advantage of the gorgeous views one can only find along the shores of Lake Massapoag to get beautiful wedding photography of this amazing couple.
