Nick and Vanessa’s Wedding at Zukas Hilltop Barn in Spencer, MA
For me, the greatest compliment I receive as a wedding photographer is when a family continues to hire you to shoot their weddings. Referrals of all kind are great, but the people you work with the closest on a wedding day, and even after, are the families. Their willingness to continue to work with you is a testament not only to the quality of the photography but also how much they enjoy working with you. That is why I was thrilled when Nick and Vanessa asked me to photograph their wedding at the gorgeous Zukas Hilltop Barn in Spencer, MA. I had photographed Nick’s sister, Brianne’s wedding a couple of years before, and I really enjoyed working with their family. So when I received the inquiry and was available for their wedding date, I could not wait to book it. One of the best parts about working with a family you have worked with before, is they come to trust you and the relationship becomes very natural. The result is a very organic flow to the day which lends itself to some really creative and inspired wedding photography. And you can never go wrong when shooting at Zukas, and apparently I was not the only family tradition that came out of Brianne’s wedding. I could not have been happier to shoot another one of this family’s wedding at this spectacular wedding venue. The result are images that Nick and Vanessa will cherish for many years to come.
