Autumn Wedding at Maneeley’s in South Windsor, CT
I do not have the opportunity to shoot in Connecticut as much as the other New England states, and not nearly as much as I would like to. So, when the opportunity to shoot Joe and Leena’s autumn wedding came along, I was thrilled to be adding it to my calendar. When the day came to photograph their wedding, I was not disappointed. The fall foliage was out in all its splendor, and the light was perfect for capturing all of the colors in their full glory. The day started with the bride making her preparations at one of her bridesmaid’s house, and groom getting ready at a groomsmen’s house (which was a self proclaimed “bachelor pad”). Man cave or not, the house had perfect wall-to-wall natural light that made for some really dynamic images. The ceremony took place at a quaint country Connecticut church, which was the perfect backdrop for their rustic autumn wedding. From their, Joe and Leena took us down memory lane to the location of their first date: a beautiful green space and the perfect landscape for some incredible formal photography. From there, the newlyweds were on to their reception at Maneeley’s in South Windsor, CT, where everyone got to cut loose and celebrate the happy couple.
