Lucas and Sonya Covid Wedding Ceremony
Planning a wedding is not easy, but having to do it a second time during a pandemic makes things that much more difficult. Even that morning when the weather forecast called for rain the entire day. It could have been very simple for Lucas and Sonya to either elope or cancel and nobody would blame them. They chose to work together and come up with a plan that satisfies as many people as they could. This speaks to the type of people they are and the love they have for each other. We did the formal photography in a park around the corner from Sonya’s house, which had some beautiful water and flat soft even lighting that allowed us to shoot in any direction. The ceremony started with a slight drizzle and ended in a torrential rain. Again most couples would have been thrown off by this but their desire to finish the ceremony was apparent. It was so nice to be able to be part of it. I am truly looking forward to being part of their reception at Peirce Farm next year.
