There is something very unique about shooting a wedding in Boston, especially when the wedding takes place in the more historic areas, like Government Center. In this part of the city, we didn’t have to travel far to incorporate some of Boston’s most iconic elements for Shaun and Amanda’s Omni Parker House wedding photography. We were but a stone’s throw from the historic State House, where we were able to use the architecture to frame Shaun and Amanda against some strong back light, creating a very dramatic shot of the couple. It was just a short party bus ride to the beautiful public gardens at the heart of the city. Here Shaun, Amanda, and their bridal party braved many onlookers and well wishers in order to get the classic Boston wedding Photography Shaun and Amanda had wanted from their big day. Everyone was in great spirits as we headed back to the Omni Parker to witness Shaun and Amanda tie the knot before celebrating well into the night at the very classy Rooftop Ballroom, which boasts one of the best (if not THE best) view of the Boston skyline. You just can’t beat the energy of Boston when trying to create some amazing photojournalistic style wedding photography, and Shaun and Amanda’s wedding is a true testament to that.
