Shai and Annie’s VIP Wedding in New Rochelle, NY
Having spent my early years growing up on Long Island, traveling to New York for a wedding can be a nostalgic experience for me. That combined with the opportunity to shoot in different locations is a great inspiration for coming up with new ideas and capturing creative imagery. So when Shai and Annie contacted me to photograph their winter Jewish wedding at the VIP in New Rochelle, I was excited about the opportunity. I knew it was going to be a great experience. After speaking with Annie for just a few short minutes, I knew she and Shai were going to be the kind of couple I would enjoy photographing. This was confirmed when I discovered they were referred by another New York bride, Tiffany, whom I shot almost exactly one year ago. Shai and Annie met Tiffany when they chose VIP as their wedding venue. When the subject of wedding photographers came up, Tiffany shared the images of her wedding with the couple, and the rest is history. Having come from a referral like Tiffany was all the proof I needed to know that this was definitely going to be a good fit for everyone. When I finally had the chance to meet Shai and Annie on the day of their wedding, I could immediately tell that they are not only two of the nicest, most down to earth people, they are also very much in love. There is little, if not anything, I can do to replace the impact true chemistry between a couple has on their wedding photography. This is more than evident in the images I was able to capture commemorating this beautiful couple’s special day. Below is a collection of these images that I hope Shai and Annie will enjoy as much as I enjoyed knowing and working with them.
