Who could have imagined that on a day when New England narrowly missed a hurricane it would turn out to be as beautiful as it was for Joe and Erin’s wedding. Though the ground was still saturated from the previous day’s rain, the sky had cleared to the most remarkable shade of blue. The golden hues of the fall foliage were at their peak, and the saturated colors contrasted perfectly against the sky’s vast canvas. No matter where we went throughout the day, we were greeted with that perfect light autumn is so famous for amongst photographers. We started photographing bride and groom separately as each made their preparations at different locations. From there we traveled to the beautiful Saint Brendan’s Church in Dorchester, MA where Joe and Erin exchanged their vows during a traditional Catholic Mass. Thankfully, we were able to take full advantage of the sanctuary’s beautiful architecture to create some breathtaking images of the newly wed couple before heading to Cohasset, MA where we captured some beautiful images of the bridal party and couple. Afterwards, it was on to the Red Lion Inn, our final destination for the evening where Joe and Erin celebrated their reception well into the night.
