Patrick and Samantha’s Omni Parker House Wedding in Boston, MA
When Patrick and Samantha originally contacted me to photograph their wedding, they were in the midst of relocating from Hawaii to Boston. This made it virtually impossible to meet before their big day; therefore, I was not sure what to expect on the day of their wedding. Needless to say, I was more than pleasantly surprised. It is hard to imagine two people kinder and easier to work with than Patrick and Samantha. From getting ready all the way through to the last dance, these two were pleasant, gracious, enthusiastic about the photography, and most of all overcome with joy to be getting married. That is not to say the day did not present some challenges. Being a devout military family, Patrick and Samantha had chosen Veteran’s Day to celebrate their nuptials at the Omni Parker House in the heart of Boston’s Government Center. So the first obstacle that day was planning around the large Veterans Day parade route just one block from the hotel. There was also the subsequent traffic from parade watchers, and the temperature hardly reached above freezing that day. Despite all of these challenges, for this couple I would do it all over again. And while the temperatures outside were frigid, being around this warm couple made the icy November day unnoticeable. The results are some stunning images that Patrick and Samantha will have to enjoy for the rest of their lives together.
