Mike and Patty’s Wedding at The Villa in East Bridgewater, MA
Being a wedding photographer, especially in a diverse area like New England, has allowed me to experience cultures from all over the world. I love how incorporating a couple’s heritage and traditions infuses a unique energy into their wedding and, by extension, their wedding photography. Mike and Patty did an excellent job accenting their day with their asian roots, making for a a tasteful and intimate day that their guests could enjoy. We started the day by photographing the bride and groom separately. Mike and his groomsmen all met at the Boston Marriott Quincy to prepare for the day. While the guys were getting ready, Patty’s bridesmaids helped her get dressed in traditional clothing for the first of two tea ceremonies at her parents’ house in Quincy. Here, everyone converged for Mike and Patty’s first look and tea ceremony, but not before Patty’s bridesmaids enjoyed some traditional wedding hi jinx with Mike and his groomsmen. From there we traveled back to the Boston Marriott where Patty changed into her bridal gown before heading to the Villa in East Bridgewater. No matter the time of year, I know I can always count on the beautifully landscaped grounds and excellent staff at the Villa to capture some beautiful wedding photography for my clients. After wrapping up the formal photography portion of the day, Mike and Patty exchanged their vows during an intimate ceremony before celebrating their nuptials in true Villa style well in to the night.
