Nothing says elegance like a winter wedding in Boston during the holidays. The city becomes transformed with the lights and colors of the season, creating a magical backdrop for wedding photography. With all the themes of winter, it is ideal for creating a unique wedding like no other time of year. Mike and Kathryn incorporated all of these elements for their special event. Both bride and groom began their day at the elegant Omni Parker House located in the heart of Boston. From there, the wedding party, families, and their many guests traveled to Saint Mary’s church in the neighboring town of Brookline to witness Mike and Kathryn exchange their vows. And while the temperatures danced around the freezing mark all day, this brave bride along, with her entourage of devoted bridesmaids, did not bat an eyelash when asked to brave the elements to capture formal photography outside in the beautiful Boston Public Gardens. The couple’s reward for facing the frigid outdoors: some incredible and dynamic images to commemorate their special day. After a much needed thaw, Mike and Kathryn joined their wedding guests to celebrate their reception in style at the glamorous Omni Parker Rooftop Ballroom with the amazing Men in Black providing the entertainment well into the night. It was incredible party for an incredible couple, and the perfect scenario to capture some incredible wedding photography.
