Nothing says elegance like a winter wedding in Boston during the holidays. The city is transformed into something spectacular with all the lights and colors of the season. This creates a magical backdrop for a couple’s wedding photography, making for unique imagery you will not see any other time of the year. Matt and Michelle elegantly incorporated all of these distinct elements for their own special day. From getting ready all the way through to the reception, Matt and Michelle’s day began and ended at the impressive Wyndham Boston located on Beacon Hill in the heart of the historic district. It was one of those very rare New England December days when the temperature was relatively mild, and the weather was unmistakably pleasant. This allowed us the opportunity to take bride, groom, and their sizable wedding party out into the streets of Boston to get some fun and creative shots around the city’s most notable locations, such as Acorn Street known for its cobble stones and centuries old houses. As if that wasn’t enough to make this seasoned wedding photographer happy, Matt and Michelle were so enthusiastic about taking full advantage of this location that we spent sunset capturing more breathtaking shots of the couple roof top at the hotel. The day could not have been planned better, allowing me time to capture some incredible and dynamic images commemorating Matt and Michelle’s special day.
