Ipswich Country Club Wedding
I knew even before meeting Dave and Erin that I was really going to enjoy photographing their wedding. I met Erin’s father while doing promotional shots for his band. Knowing how much fun he is, I came into this wedding with some pretty high expectations. All I can say is they did not disappoint. Dave and Erin were every bit as pleasant as I had hoped. We started the photography at the Boston Peabody Marriott, where both bride and groom were getting ready separately from each other. It’s always a bit tricky preventing any unforunate encounters when the getting ready location is the same. It does keep things interesting, and me on my toes. From there, we traveled to the ceremony, which took place at Saint Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Lynnfield. The ceremony was very intimate, with both Erin’s talented brother and father performing as part of the musical ensemble. There was hardly a dry eye among the guests as Dave and Erin exchanged their heartfelt vows. After the conclusion of the ceremony, it was on to the reception at the Ipswich Country Club, where I had the pleasure of working with some of the most professional and friendly staff I have met. After taking the time to capture some beautiful shots of Dave and Erin together, it was time to get the party started. And who better to provide some incredibly fun entertainment with one of the best bands in Boston. Of course, with Erin’s father being a musician himself, one can only expect the best when it came to who should perform at Dave and Erin’s reception. To top it off, Erin’s brother was invited on stage where he brought the house down with his incredible trumpet solo during an amazing cover of “Brick House”. It was so much fun to photograph that it felt like I was spending time with friends.
