Great winter wedding at the Saphire Estate
Not to sound redundant, but planning a February wedding in New England takes a lot of courage. The weather here is nothing if not unpredictable. Just to prove my point, as I sit here and write this blog it is 30 degrees warmer than just a couple of days before, and the mountain of snow that had accumulated in my front yard miraculously disappeared over night. It has been only four days since Roland and Andrea’s wedding, when the forecasted temperature would not pass a chilling 8 degrees. You can imagine my disappointment, as I knew it would be difficult to shoot a bride and groom on a day where everyone was struggling just to keep warm. This, however, was not the case. The native New England couple were completely immune to the weather and more than willing to go get some great photography. What other place lends it’s self to such a day as the Saphire Estate in Sharon. It was the perfect compliment of photojournalistic and traditional wedding photography.
