Fall wedding on the cape at Wychmere
Vincent and Victoria and I had met a while ago when they inquired about a wedding date that I was booked for. It was upsetting to think at the time, I wasn’t going to be able to photograph their wedding. One of the few good things during this pandemic was to find out when they rescheduled I was available for their date. I’m so happy they circled back to me, as it was simply an amazing day. It was nice to be able to incorporate some of Vincent’s home in some of the getting ready photography. Victoria and the bridesmaids were getting ready at a gorgeous space where we could see a surprise drive-by boat trip the groomsmen had made. What’s so nice about working at a place like Wychmere is everywhere you turn there is an amazing background to shoot in. The ceremony we had at the harbor, we did formals on the lawn and sunset photos on the beach. We have been forced to limit the guest list due to the pandemic. By tightening up the guest list you are surrounded by your 50 closest friends and family, who truly want to be part of your day. It is evident in the emotion of photography. Everything came together from the getting ready straight through to the end of the last dance. I was so glad to be part of the day.
