Brett and Shari’s Wedding in Boston, MA
Being a documentary wedding photographer, I’m always excited when a couple has a really amazing story tell. Especially when it is a big part of their wedding planning. This was the case with Brett and Shari’s wedding. The day started with Brett getting ready with his groomsmen at the couple’s shared Hyde Park home. Shariand her bridesmaids, one being her daughter, got ready at the immaculate Elliot Hotel in hip Back Bay of Boston. From their the two parties converged on the banks of the gorgeous Charles River to exchange their wedding vows. This is where the story really began to unfold. Brett and Shari had chosen to have their heartfelt and intimate ceremony underneath the beautiful willow tree where they had shared their first date: a picnic shared between Brett, Shari, and her daughter. What better place to start the next chapter of their story than in the same location where it started? Afterwards, it was on to the Boston Gardens where we captured all the family and bridal party formals. Once those were finished, the story continued at the Boston fire department where Brett is employed as firefighter to capture some really fun, creative, and unique photographs of the couple. It was a wedding photographer’s dream scenario! Once we had captured all of the shots the couple had wanted, it was on to the Tiki Bar in Boston where Brett, Shari, and all their friends and family celebrated their nuptials well into the night.
