Beautiful February Wedding at the Red Lion Inn
Planning a wedding for February 27, especially in Massachusetts, takes a great deal of courage. Anyone who has spent even a short amount of time here can testify to how dramatic the weather can be this time of year. For BJ and Shawna’s Red Lion Inn wedding, luck was on their side. After two historic winters, there should have been over 20 feet of snow on the ground for their special day. Who could have guessed it would turn out the way it did? Not only was the ground completely thawed for everyone’s convenience (with the exception for those in the bridal party whose stilettos were stuck in the mud during the formal photography), but there were also hues of green making their debut well ahead of schedule. And while there was the expected late February chill still lingering in the air, it did not stop BJ and Shawna from taking full advantage of their good fortune to incorporate the outdoors in their wedding photography. As a reward for their resolve, we were able to capture some truly unique and dramatic night shots of the newlywed couple to commemorate their wedding day.
